Moving to a new rented apartment is very exciting. May be you are going to a new city or it is the present one, where you need to find some other suitable place for living. However, before you move to a new rented apartment, you must understand that renting a Hanoi apartment involves lots of responsibilities that one must fulfill. There are some do’s and don’ts of renting an apartment. Let’s talk about the Don’ts of apartment renting that every tenant must remember and follow.

1. Do not sign any leasing agreement that has some kind of objectionable points. The points may be normal but it may not suit you. In such case as well you need to ask your future landlord to change the point or else you can find some other options.
2. Do not show any kind of tough attitude or arrogance to your future landlord at the time of discussion. Always try to be humble to the person and let him feel comfortable in choosing you as a tenant. This will help you to grow a good relation with your landlord, which is required to have a safe, comfortable and hassle-free living.
3. Do not start living into the Hanoi apartment without proper checking. Make sure that you have checked all the units of the apartment before you start living there. If there is any kind of damage, may be big or small, you need to inform your landlord and ask him to repair that damage as soon as possible.
4. Do not make any kind of repair or addition or alteration of the Hanoi apartment without the concern of your landlord. May be it is too small to inform, but you have to inform your landlord before you do it.
5. Do not leave the apartment permanently without informing your landlord. This can lead you to legal hazards. Inform your landlord that you are leaving his or her apartment and do the other necessary formalities.
